In 2009, I was hired as the web and online marketing manager of a relatively large nonprofit consumer credit counseling company. The company had great leadership and employees, who had a passion for helping people improve their credit and personal finances. I was very excited to join the company and contribute to their mission of positively serving the American people. I was entrusted with the responsibility to manage their web sites and online marketing initiatives.
By implementing search engine optimization and conversion rate optimization strategies, I increased the company’s online credit counseling business and revenue 427% in first 90-days. In addition, I increased their unique visitor traffic on their flagship website over 34% in the first 90-days of being given the project responsibility.
