Is Your Website Responsive?
By now, most people with a smart phone or tablet have had first hand experience with a responsive website. It’s that website you were viewing the other day on your device, that was sized perfectly to fit your screen. It was that website you didn’t become frustrated with trying navigate and enlarge to read. Remember, the one that loaded fast on your device and made you think, wow…this company really gets it!
What Is Responsive Web Design?
Responsive web design is a modern approach to building websites, that makes a site automatically display on a desktop computer, tablet or mobile device with an optimal viewing experience. Overwhelming research shows, that website visitors and customers want to easily read and navigate a site, with minimum resizing and scrolling, in order to compare and shop for products and services.
Why Should You Care?
Many successful business owners, marketers and sales people have said their key to success is, “giving the customer what they want”. Although simple in theory, this notion is often the difference between online business success and failure…especially today. Don’t take my word for it, take a look at this research from Google, Adobe Systems, Gartner, Compuware, and Lightspeed Research.
